Busy Parents Train here
"I'm in a season right in which my time is incredibly limited. It's difficult enough making time to watch my kid's sports, much less carving out time to workout. That's why I'm such a fan of BCS Fitness. I leave the office about 15 mins early, get in my workout, and I'm home in time to make it to all the kid's games. My energy and strength are the best they've been since my late 20's!"
At BCS Fitness, we help busy people look, move, and feel their best through customized personal training. No classes, no boot camps, no one-size-fits-all approach.
As a new client, we meet with you initially one one one to learn about you and how we can best support you. Then you get to decide if you'd like to train in a small group with 3 or 4 others at a day/time/location of your choice at either our Barron Rd or Texas Ave studio.
Your coach will have a tailored program just for you on their iPad during all your training sessions and will curate the specific list of exercises with the intensity you need to get the best long term results possible.
Worried about a past injury? No problem. Our coaches will have all of your health & training data right in front of them so they can help you get both a safe and effective workout in less time.
So what are you waiting for? Won't it feel great to not only feel more energized throughout your day...but to also capture more family memories with you actually in the picture?
Simply DM or text us "I'm ready" to 979-575-7871.
❌ Want to stop quitting on your goals?
❌ Want to stop quitting on your goals?
✅ Then start aligning them with your values.
Think about it: when something is important to you, you do it, right?
So, it’s not about “having more willpower,” it’s about defining your core values and using them as the “filter” you run your goals through.
Here’s how to figure out what matters MOST to you right now 👇
✔️ Step 1: Write down some values that matter to you. Ideas: health, family, happiness, security, freedom, money, or fun.
✔️ Step 2: Choose 2-3 of the top values on your list (they’re the ones that get you the most fired up!).
✔️ Step 3: Using your own words, using specific examples, write down what your top values mean to you in your everyday life.
For example, if you chose “health” as a top core value, you might write about how being healthy means you have the energy to pursue the business you want to create, or being more present with your kids. Make it real.
✔️ Step 4: Read your values list every morning! Post them where you can see them, when you’re faced with a decision, make the choice that aligns with your values.
🧘 Now, run your biggest goals through these values. Do they align? If not, how CAN they be more aligned?
This is how you create goals that are important enough for you to keep…
👉 Making major changes in your health and fitness takes time.
No one wants to hear this, but…
👉 Making major changes in your health and fitness takes time.
That means you probably won’t see results as quickly as you want to.
It also means that if you’re serious about achieving your goals, you HAVE to find a way to enjoy the process.
Easiest way to do that? Make a BIG deal out of your small wins along the way!
Seriously…
Your pants fit a little looser? Celebrate!
Have more energy when you wake up in the morning? Celebrate!
Make all your workouts this week? Celebrate!
These milestones might seem insignificant, but they’re key for keeping you going.
And bonus, when you take the time to acknowledge your wins, you build self-confidence and self-efficacy (knowing that you can do hard things!).
So how do you celebrate your small wins? 🎉
Well, they should align with your mission. For example, crushing a big ice cream sundae every time you hit a weight loss milestone would work against your goal.
But some things that will help?
Make a quick post about your journey and talk about your accomplishments and what you’ve learned. You never know who you might inspire!
Take a little “you” time. How about a massage or picking up a new book?
Get yourself a new outfit or some workout clothes. This can also be a big self-esteem booster.
New gear! Grab a cushiony new yoga mat, some resistance bands, or a pair of sneakers.
If you’re not used to celebrating yourself, this can all feel a little weird at first…but stick to it and see how much better your feel about the journey!
🤔🤷♀️Q: Is exercise necessary for weight loss?
🤔🤷♀️Q: Is exercise necessary for weight loss?
✅A: If one of your goals is to lose body weight on the scale, most of your results will come from what (and how much) you eat.
🏃♂️But exercise, specifically strength training, is definitely a HUGE part of the process!
🏋️♀️First, it helps you maintain (and even build) muscle as you lose weight, which is key in keeping your metabolism strong. It also has an impact on your body’s shape.
Plus, regular exercise is strongly correlated with maintaining your weight after you’ve reached your goal … to help avoid that dreaded yo-yo.
💪Even more importantly, your workouts carry a long list of health benefits, including a lower risk of many illnesses & diseases, improved mood, better brain health, reduced risk of falls, and so much more!
